The PS8-II is a power sequencer with variable delay. Some audio tools can produce momentary pops when turned on or off. A power sequencer prevents these spikes from reaching your speakers, and smoothes inrush current to protect sensitive equipment. The eight rear AC outlets power up or down in order. The global Sequence Delay offsets each outlet by up to two seconds. Loud transients can't pass between units, and since your power amps can be the last to turn on and first to turn off, nothing reaches the speakers unless the entire system is ready. The PS8-II is also a fully featured power conditioner that protects against surges and spikes, and provides EMI and RFI filtering. It also filters digital and dimmer hash, and any high-frequency noise above the audio range. The custom filter design blocks virtually all unwanted signals between the AC line and ground. For additional flexibility, a Euroblock connector provides remote switching of the power on and power off sequence, and there is an unswitched AC outlet on the front panel for convenient access. Designed to protect your ears and your gear, the PS8-II is ideal for live venues, studios, fixed installations, conferencing, and high-performance A/V systems.
