The Blue Lantern Arcade Kick is a kick drum module inspired by the TR-909 drum machine, perfect for big booming techno kicks. The internal oscillator is a triangle-core with an internal reset. It features envelopes for both VCA and pitch, each with switches to select between normal or long decay. The two trigger inputs can be used together, employing "OR" logic to combine the two inputs—and can accept signals well in audio rates. The accent input allows you to provide additional emphasis to the kick. The smack knob mixes in "paper" noise, while the distort adds grit to the signal, using these together add character not found on the original 909. While inspired by vintage drum machines, this is not a clone and is its own take on kick drums. Whether you want a thumping kick or trigger at audio rate for droning noise, the Arcade Kick has you covered.
