The Electrosmith 2144 LPF is a flexible low pass filter with a 24dB slope. It uses Electrosmith's original 2144 submodule that is inpired by the famous SSM 2024 chips found in so many historical pieces of hardware, such as E-MU SP1200, Korg Mono/Poly, and PPG Wave. The filter outputs clean and warm tones at low resonance settings, however it can generate a fair amount of distortion when the resonance knob is up. The filter is capbale of self-oscilation, in which case it generates a pure sine wave and it tracks volts per octave.
