The Ibanez AZ2204NW Prestige is an electric guitar geared for performance where tonal flexibility is key. At the heart is a trio of Seymour Duncan Fortuna pickups—two single coils and a humbucker—with a moderate output and clean voicing to reflect every nuance of your playing. A dyna-MIX 9 wiring system gives you nine tones to explore and includes a mini-switch to move between humbucker and single-coil sounds. From warm blues to shred-heavy metal riffs, the AZ2204NW Prestige has you covered. The alder body has a shallow back contour; a forearm contour on the front also contributes to playing comfort. With a deep waist and different radii on each body edge curve, the AZ2204NW Prestige is easy to play standing or sitting. Ibanez heats the roasted maple neck with its S Tech process to increase the stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance of temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish for the feel of a well-loved vintage instrument; the Super All Access neck joint gives it a modern playability. The AZ2204NWPrestige has a compound radius rosewood fretboard that enhances lower-fret chording and upper-fret soloing; jumbo stainless steel frets offer long life and precise intonation. Gotoh provides the hardware on the Ibanez AZ2204NW prestige. The Magnum Lock machine head tuners facilitate quick strings changes; H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Posts) let you dial in the exact amount of tension for your string gauges and playing style. The T1702B tremolo bridge has a quick response with improved articulation; the tremolo block and saddles are made of brass for maximum resonance. If you're a player without musical boundaries, check out the Ibanez AZ2204NW Prestige. It comes with a hardshell case.
