The Washburn HD20S is a traditional style dreadnought acoustic that boasts a solid spruce top with Scalloped-X bracing for superior tone that improves with age. The HD20S is the classic blend of spruce and rosewood back sides, perfectlty suited to bluegrass flatpicking and hard strumming. It is both full but clear and articulate. Other aesthetically pleasing features include a custom rosette, a Washburn tortoise pickguard, and white binding. The slim taper mahogany neck features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, traditional dot inlays and a satin finish that will feel comfortable in your fretting hand. The headstock sports a rosewood cap, and is outfitted with die cast tuners with stylish ebonite buttons for quick, easy and accurate tuning.
