Based on its predecessor, the XDJ-1000MK2 improves usability through enhanced track browsing and support for high-resolution FLAC and ALAC audio files. It inherits the large jog wheel and 7-inch, full-color touch screen from the CDJ-2000NXS2, as well as features such as 8 Hot Cues and Quantize. Download the rekordbox music management software or the rekordbox app to prepare your sets. The XDJ-1000MK2 features dual full color touchscreens that provide a graphical interface for selecting tracks, setting loops, and applying FX. Browse through your rekordbox library and load up to two tracks at a time for seamless transitions and mixes. The touchscreens also give you control over Beat FX, Sound Color FX and Beat Jump for dynamic performances. With 16 multicolored performance pads, the XDJ-1000MK2 puts a world of possibilities at your fingertips. Trigger Hot Cues, Loop Rolls and Sample Banks on the fly for spontaneous remixes and mashups. The pads are highly responsive and brightly illuminated for precise control in any environment. The XDJ-1000MK2 is fully compatible with rekordbox, Pioneer DJ's music management software. Prepare your tracks in rekordbox on your laptop or computer and then export them to USB to load directly into the XDJ-1000MK2. rekordbox allows you to set Hot Cues, Loops and Beatgrids in advance so you can focus on your performance. With a brushed aluminum faceplate, the XDJ-1000MK2 looks as good as it sounds. It offers a high-definition 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface, 16 types of quantized Beat FX, 10 types of Sound Color FX and a Beat Jump feature for skipping sections of 4 or 8 beats. A variety of input and output options provide connectivity for any event. The XDJ-1000MK2 gives DJs a complete toolkit for crafting memorable sets.
