The JGM11 features an asymmetric jumbo body with a cutaway. The Thermo Aged solid Sitka spruce top with a rounded body edge with wooden purfling and Macassar ebony binding is mated to solid african mahogany sides and back with a natural high gloss finish. The top's innovative modified X-M bracing delivers more pronounced lows along with a brighter top end. The round soundhole features a special "Mobius ring" wooden rosette. The African mahogany and maple neck has a 20-fret Macassar ebony fretboard with a special "Passion Flower” wooden vine inlays and Luminlay side dots. Components include a Macassar ebony bridge with a compensated bone saddle, a bone nut, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, and Gotoh SGS510Z tuning machines. Electronics consist of a Fishman Rare Earth soundhole pickup with a Fishman PowerTap Earth Blend preamp with dual outputs: one stereo/mono jack integrated with the strap button and a separate mono flush-mounted jack.
