The ESP LTD EC-256 is designed to offer players the look and feel of ESP's higher-end EC Series guitars at an affordable price. The EC-256 features a classic single-cutaway design with a mahogany body and a beautiful flamed maple top (on some models). The body and headstock are accented with binding, giving the guitar a high-quality look. The set neck construction allows for easy access to the higher frets, and the thin U-shaped mahogany neck with a roasted jatoba fingerboard is designed for comfort and speed. The guitar is equipped with ESP Designed LH-150 humbucking pickups that can be coil-split via a push-pull switch for a wider variety of tones.
