The Yamaha A3M acoustic-electric guitar combines classic design with modern features for a versatile and powerful instrument. The traditional dreadnought cutaway body features scalloped bracing on the top and shortened bracing on the back, allowing for increased resonance and a richer sound in the low-mid ranges. Solid Sitka spruce on the top delivers a bright and articulate sound, while the solid mahogany back and sides add warmth and depth. Yamaha's A.R.E. wood torrefaction process enhances the stability of the top and gives it a beautiful aged look. For amplified performance, the A3M utilizes Yamaha's SRT2 pickup system. This system blends the signal from an under-bridge piezo pickup with modeled tones from either a high-quality condenser microphone or a ribbon microphone. This allows you to recreate the studio experience on stage and dial in your own unique and natural-sounding amplified tone.
